One Tail

Author: S. L. Hoche (ne' Hawk)
Edition: 125
Year: 1992

A children's story about a young fellow who gets more than he bargained for. The first book produced by AYP, it was printed offset litho, bound by the Library bindery in Indiana, and gold foil embossed on the cover. The text is philosophy for kids, an expiation of Heagle and the socio-biology's(sosobiology)strong anthropic principle. Black and white illustrations were made with rapidiographs, and a now extinct art tool called the air marker; a strange combination of compressed Freon and alcohol based markers, a duce when working in confined spaces. The story was written in Avon, Colorado where the author lived for a time, and illustrated and printed in Wisconsin. The entire project was supported by a Venture grant from Beloit college. Out of print.
