The figure is everything.
Deep orange and cold purple goat leather is entwined with the tapes exposed. Papers starting in grey from all over, machine and hand made sheets fading slowly to pale creams and bone to white. The subtle shifts in the paper and thread are like a changing melody note by note. It is the fugue of music and the landscape that is the body. The stories we print for each other all lie together in the repeated silhouette from page to page. The collage sources are from the 1880's to the present.
