Robot
Author: D. Graham
Edition: 112
Year: 1997
Robot was another instantaneous project. One moment, no book. The next moment, whamm-o!
While it is true that all the work we do encompasses all the work we consume (for we are products of our environment, even those of us who work to fabricate elements of that environment), this book is particularly dedicated to the now defunct band Servotron. Of course, as a kind of subset of that dedication, this book is for the Man Or Astroman society at large. It is for the AstroFans, the Clones, the Crew, and the Astromen themselves. "Every Atom" as it says on the inside of the back cover. Particularly, thankyou Mr. Birdstuff, formerly Machine #1: Z4-0BX. (That's the long version of the dedication.)
For some reason this book os printed on Kraft paper. The original drawings for the book were done on a paper bag and that substrait apparently worked its way into the nature of the project. So there it is.
This second edition will evenutally be completed with the Gocco silkscreened covers that were part of the original design. Look forward to much more technically advanced and practical editions with letterpressed covers.
