A suspicion of encroachment

Author: M. Wagner, S. Teplin, D. Heagle, D. Graham
Edition: 6
Year: 1996

A variant edition series of books that has seven permutations, eight if you include the book that this edition is a facsimile of. The book A suspicion of moss encroachment contains the efforts of David Heagle, Mark Wagner, C.K.Wilde, Dylan Graham, and Scott Teplin. These five artists wrangled with one small electric blue book with an amorphous blot on it's cover. This book was then given to the boxmaker extrordinaire Nugent J. Vitallo in appreciation for his years of tireless service. It was not given, however, without ten photocopies having first been made of it's entire contents. Those color xeroxs onto one hundred percent cotton strathmore paper became the signatures for this edition. The yellow frontal piece was lettered by Dylan Graham and inset into the iridescent blue silk boards. The interior images are whimsical, bright, and surprisingly cohesive.
