Umbrellarhapsody
Author: Scott Teplin and C.K.Wilde
Edition: 1
Year: 1997
Scott was visiting from Seattle and it was raining. We figured we would have more fun making something rather then trundle about in the rain. A Steel nibbed pen and ink, portable water color kit, some good Fabriano water color paper, and the Pope was ready. Sometimes the drawing/painting element came first, sometimes the collage element- the end results are small biomorphic machine creatures that lead the reader into their quixotic world. Blue Algerian goat leather covers, with a single orange dot on the front cover. Wilde bound onto tapes and joined for-edges to hide the binding. This book can be read at the Yale Arts of the book collection.
